The Maintenance Installation Tool (MIT) will not re-apply previously installed hot fix updates to SAS 9.2 installations. Attempts to re-apply a hot fix to a SAS 9.2 installation will generate the following message:

This update has already been applied. This update cannot be uninstalled.
No changes need to be made. Your system is up to date.

This message will appear on the "Files to Update" dialog, and it may appear more than once depending on the languages installed on your system.
