The LENGTH= column modifier is not handled correctly when you use the SQL procedure to create character columns in SAS Scalable Performance Data Server tables.
If you create a SAS Scalable Performance Data Server table using a LIBNAME connection and you add the LENGTH= column modifier for a character, the implicit pass-through facility does not handle the new length correctly. The column is not properly padded with blanks.
