The following errors might occur when you try to sign on to a server session using the SASCMD= system option in SAS/CONNECT software:
ERROR: Invalid credential ERROR: Access denied.
The problem might become apparent in eSAS® Data Integration Studio when you run jobs with nested-loop transformations or in a SAS session when you use the SASCMD= system option and sign on through an object spawner.
The problem occurs because user IDs and passwords are not passed to the workspace server when the sign-on (with the SASCMD= option) is complete. The problem does not occur in cases where SAS/CONNECT servers are started from metadata (such as in the case of a grid sign-on) because credentials are passed from the SAS/CONNECT client.
