Usage Note 35502: Host and port parameters are not required in the command line for the report output generator
Because the host and port are retrieved from the spring.xml file, it is no longer necessary to include the --host and --port parameters in the command line for the report output generator. The following is an example of an incorrect command line:
--spring-xml-file file:C:\EBI_10FEB\config\Lev1\Applications\SASBIReportServices4.2\spring.xml
--extract --repository Foundation --host bcidev02 --port 8561 -u ddtw6401\sasdemo
-pw Demo123 --prompts-file c:\prompts\promptsfile4.xml --source "A5GK9Q4T.B00000BF"
--log-level INFO
If you do use the parameters, as shown in the example above, you might receive the following error:
