Problem Note 35501: Changes in the session timeout value in SAS® Foundation Services might cause login errors and cause system users to be unavailable
If you change the session timeout value in SAS Foundation Services (SAS® Remote Services and SAS® Web Report Studio 4.2 Local Services) you might receive the following error message in WebSphere when you try to log in to SAS Web Report Studio or SAS® Information Delivery Portal:
[2/25/09 13:36:06:223 CET] 00000074 ServletWrappe E SRVE0100E: Did not realize
init() exception thrown by servlet remote:
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean
with name 'metadataUser' defined in ServletContext resource
[/WEB-INF/spring-config/infrastructure-config.xml]: Invocation of init method
failed; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalStateException: Unable to retrieve
requested user, sastrust@saspw. Is one defined in the remote UserService with
the required name?
When session timeouts are activated, after a period of time some system users will be unavailable which might cause errors in the applications.
