Usage Note 35377: Understanding the MYTRAN database that is defined under the SAS® Table Server Manager plug-in in the SAS® Management Console
In the SAS Table Server Manager plug-in in SAS Management Console, there is a folder called Transactional Databases under SAS Data and a defined data source called MYTRAN.
MYTRAN is a sample SAS transactional database that is created when the SAS Table Server Manager is configured. Its primary value is in providing a means for validating configuration.
Validation includes not only the process of connecting to the server, but also verifying data and metadata access.
SAS supports transactional databases for specific internal solution needs.
It is not a generally available feature.
Therefore, SAS transactional databases cannot be created from the SAS Table Server Manager.
