Problem Note 35302: SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Oracle does not issue a note or warning when the Oracle variable length is reduced with the DBMAX_TEXT= option
SAS/ACCESS Interface to Oracle does not issue a note or warning when the Oracle variable lenght is reduced by using the DBMAX_TEXT= option as a LIBNAME statement option or as a data set option. In such cases, your data might be truncated.
This issue might be fixed in a future software release.
