If the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office is installed and you exit out of the Microsoft Office products Excel, Word or PowerPoint, you might receive a pop-up window similar to the following:

Note: The message will contain the name of the Microsoft Office product that is being used at the time of the failure. For example:

   Microsoft Office PowerPoint has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

Restart Microsoft Office PowerPoint (Note there is a check box to either do this or not)

To correct the error, complete the following steps:

1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\SAS\Shared Files\Secure on the client machine.
2. Rename the files tcpdeam.dll and tcpdencr.dll to tcpdeam.dll.old and tcpdencr.dll.old.
3. Copy the files from C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS 9.1\core\sasexe to C:\Program Files\SAS\Shared Files\Secure.
