Problem Note 35111: A note in the SAS log displays the incorrect release of the software
If a previous release of SAS is in your linklist and you install a new release of SAS® software, you may see a note referencing the wrong release in your SAS log. Please note that SAS has not tested having the entire SAS load library in linklist and does not recommend that customers run with SAS configured in this manner.
For example, if you have SAS® 9.1.3 in your linklist, you may see the following in the SAS log of your SAS 9.2 session. Note that one NOTE states that you are running SAS (r) Proprietary Software 9.2 (TS1M0) but another NOTE states that you are running another release for example SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 1 or SAS 8.2. This second note is erroneous and can safely be ignored.
