Usage Note 35109: "Invalid URI" error when opening the Style Manager in SAS® Enterprise Guide
In SAS Enterprise Guide, when attempting to open the Style Manager after modifying a style, the following error might appear:
Invalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined.
This error can be caused by custom .css files that are either corrupted or not in the correct format. To solve the problem, delete a file named ExternalStyles.xml.
Typically, this file is located in %appdata%\SAS\BI Clients\Styles.
The default path for this location is:
C:\Documents and Settings\~userid\Application Data\SAS\BI Clients\Styles
If the problem persists after deleting ExternalStyles.xml, another workaround is to either delete EGOptions.xml or remove any reference to the faulty URL in the EGOptions.xml.
