Usage Note 35020: SAS® 9.2 DBRM members must be downloaded for the bind
In SAS 9.2 on z/OS, the SAS92 and SAS92X DBRM members that are needed for the DB2 bind are not downloaded during the installation. Please go to
Technical Support Hot Fixes to download the DBRMs that are needed for the DB2 bind.
Under the Additional Downloads section on the left side of the Web page, click SAS 9.2 DBRM members for SAS/ACCESS® Interface to DB2 for z/OS.
Following the installation instructions in dbrms92.txt results in the creation of two data sets with each one containing the members SAS92 and SAS92X. One data set will be used during the bind if you are accessing DB2 V7 and the other will be used if you are accessing DB2 V8 or DB2 V9.
To ensure that the correct data set is accessed, when performing the DB2 bind you should point to the appropriate DBRM library as mentioned above, rather than specifying the DBRM data set created during the SAS installation.
