When you run a DATA step in SAS 9.2 Phase 1on OpenVMS for HP Integrity, you might find that the log shows values for CPU time and Real time that are greater than they were for the same DATA step with the same data in SAS 9.1.3 on OpenVMS Alpha.
The problem is that in SAS 9.2 Phase 1 on OpenVMS for HP Integrity, SAS makes unnecessary system calls. Over time, this causes the CPU time and Real time to increase.
