Problem Note 34968: SASĀ® 9.2 on OpenVMS for HP Integrity shows increased CPU and Real time when running identical steps over time
If your SAS program includes several steps,
and you run the program multiple times,
you might see that the Real time and user CPU time
values shown in the log increase with each execution.
These increasing values indicate that excessive CPU time is being
used in task switching on OpenVMS for HP Integrity (VMI),
and the result is a degradation in performance.
