Problem Note 34927: Clients in a Windows environment might experience slow performance when running stored processes

Clients in a Windows environment that use the method call obObjectFactory.CreateObjectByLogicalNameAndLogins might experience slow performance.

This situation might occur when the following is true:

  • The Windows client uses the method call obObjectFactory.CreateObjectByLogicalNameAndLogins.
  • The SAS® Metadata Server has many identities defined and many Login objects associated with the same Authentication Domain as the called server.

SAS® Enterprise Guide® and SAS® Add–In for Microsoft Office have experienced this issue when attempting to run a stored processes.

There is no current workaround available.
