Usage Note 34846: Exports to a Netezza database table fail if the data contains a pipe "|" character
When exporting SAS® Customer Intelligence Data to a Netezza database file, the export fails if any of the data strings that are being exported contain a pipe character "|".
This is because the Netezza bulkloader uses a pipe character to delimit the field being uploaded. When the bulkloader encounters the pipe character in the data, it is interpreted as a field delimiter and all subsequent fields become out of sequence.
This causes the bulkload to fail with the following error in the macore log.
ERROR: Error terminating Netezza load: ERROR: External Table : count of bad input rows reached maxerrors limit, see nzlog file
To work around this issue, ensure that your data does not contain any pipe characters.
