Problem Note 34787: Data Link Properties dialog box appears in the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office when opening a data set into a pivot table

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When opening a data set into a pivot table in Excel, you might be prompted to enter credentials into the Data Link Properties dialog box. This can occur if your identity is defined in SAS® Management Console with an empty Password field and an Authentication Domain value of DefaultAuth. If this is the case, you can avoid being prompted for credentials by changing the Authentication Domain value from DefaultAuth to blank. Another option is to store the password in metadata.
