Problem Note 34533: Plan names that are longer than 40 characters are truncated in SAS® Markdown Optimization
In SAS Markdown Optimization, the length of
active_plan_nm should be the same length as
plan_nm. However the plan name column (
active_plan_nm) in the MDO_IMPORT_PLAN table is limited to 40 characters. As a result, plans with names longer than than 40 characters cannot load into SAS Markdown Optimization. If the length of the plan's name is greater than 40 characters, the plan import process will truncate
active_plan_nm and reject subsequent records.
