Problem Note 34420: Refine criteria are not being applied when implicit or explicit AND processing feeds directly into an export node

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you use the refine export functionality in a SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio diagram or campaign, the contents of the field being exported might not be correct. This problem occurs if you select at a subject level, which is not unique on a folder. For example, if you select the customer subject on a product table where there can be more than one product per customer, you might get invalid results.

Suppose two select nodes of this nature are joined together using either explicit or implicit AND functionality, and their combined results are used to populate an export node or an export node within a communication. If export refine functionality is used to refine that population by referencing the output of either of the select nodes, then the fields exported might be incorrect.

A possible workaround is to place a cell after each of the nodes and refine the export on the cell rather than the node.
