Problem Note 34333: Incorrect counts are returned when priorities are changed in a Split node

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Subject counts are incorrect when you use the arrow keys in a SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio Split node to prioritize the output cells.

A SAS Customer Intelligence Split node enables the subjects to be split by counts, percentages, values from a previous node, or values from a data item. When using either values from a previous node or values from a data item, you can prioritize the cells that are generated by using the arrow keys in the Split node dialog box to move the cells up or down the list.

If you have already generated counts on the Split node, using the arrow keys to change the priority of a cell causes that cell name to be associated with the original count for that priority.

Here is an example:

You have a Split node with the following three cells:

Cell A - 1000 subjects
Cell B - 1200
Cell C - 1500

You use the arrow key to move Cell C to the top of the list. However, the list is displayed as shown below:

Cell C - 1000 subjects
Cell A - 1200
Cell B - 1500

To avoid this problem, do not use the arrow keys to change the order of cells within a Split node.
