Problem Note 34327: Contact History is not mapped for this subjectID error when updating contact history

When a SAS® Customer Intelligence Information map is configured so that Contact History is not to be updated and Presented Treatments not tracked, the check boxes associated with those functions are not dimmed in either Communication or Reply nodes.

If they are selected, then when Contact History is updated the process fails with the following application exception:

com.sas.analytics.crm.error.client.ApplicationException: Attempted contact history update when executing campaign SelectionCamp but contact history not mapped for this subjectID.

To work around this problem, either configure your Information Map to allow Contact History to be updated and Presented Treatments to be tracked or ensure that the check boxes are not selected before updating Contact History.
