Usage Note 34188: Date field may be in unexpected form when using SAS® IT Resource Management with Linux sar data

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Depending upon locale and environment variable settings, the date field for Linux sar data may be in the form YYYY-MM-DD.

SAS IT Resource Managment (ITRM) expects a date in the form MM-DD-YY, and is therefore unable to process the data. With ITRM 3.1.1, a note similar to the following appears in the log:

NOTE: Invalid data for MM in line 1 41-50.
   NOTE: Processing sar report from DATE=. MACHINE=dexter OS=Linux . . 2.6.9-42.0.10.ELsmp
