Installation Note 34925: Migration from SAS® 9.1.3 to SAS® 9.2 will fail if Person objects with certain target names already exist
When the Software Deployment Wizard migrates SAS® 9.1.3 Person objects with the following names, and the SAS® 9.2 Person objects already exist, the migration will not perform the update.
- SAS Administrator to a SAS 9.2 Person object named sasadm
- SAS Demo User to a SAS 9.2 Person object named sasdemo
- SAS Trusted User to a SAS 9.2 Person object named sastrust
To correct the problem, rename any existing sasadm, sasdemo, or sastrust metadata identities in metadata before running migration.
