Installation Note 34918: Migration from SAS® 9.1.3 to SAS® 9.2 requires the SAS® Metadata Server directory name to be "MetadataServer"
Migration from SAS 9.1.3 to SAS 9.2 will fail if the directory name for SAS Metadata Server is anything other than MetadataServer. The SAS Metadata Server directory must be named MetadataServer.
To circumvent the problem, change the Metadata Server directory name to MetadataServer in the omaconfig.xml file. The omaconfig.xml file is located in the SAS® Migration Utility package. The path that contains the file will be similar to the following:
SMU_package\hostname\metadatasrv\omaconfig.xml
The statements in the omaconfig.xml file that contain the directory name for the SAS Metadata Server are as follows:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<OMAconfig>
<OMA ADMINUSERS="MetadataServer/adminUsers.txt"
TRUSTEDUSERS="MetadataServer/trustedUsers.txt"
MAXACTIVETHREADS="2"
GROUPSFORMEMBERASSOCDELETE="DESKTOP_PORTALPAGES_GROUP,
Portlet Template Group,
OrderingGroup,
DESKTOP_PAGEHISTORY_GROUP,
Portal Collection"/>
<RPOSMGR PATH="MetadataServer/rposmgr"/>
</OMAconfig>
