Problem Note 34913: The SAS® Metadata Server stops responding if a long user ID or password is submitted for authentication

If you attempt to log on to the SAS Metadata Server using a user ID or password that is longer than 255 characters, the metadata server might stop accepting new connections (hang) or terminate abnormally.
To circumvent the problem, make sure all user IDs and passwords are shorter than 255 characters.
