Phone numbers are stored in the customer dimension table with formatting applied (###) ###-####. When the phone numbers are read into the SAR application and saved into the SAR data model, the numbers are truncated to 10 characters. This is due to the regulatory agency not requiring formatting of the phone numbers when filing this data.

Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

The fix for this problem is to remove the formatting before storing the number into the SAR data model.
