Problem Note 34792: Running a SAS® Web Report Studio report using the RPTBATCH command might fail
Running a SAS Web Report Studio report in batch using the RPTBATCH command might fail. This can happen if the wrong authentication domain is hardcoded in the RPTBATCH command.
For example, if the suggested default was accepted during installation, then the name of the authentication domain is DefaultAuth, and DefaultAuth is hardcoded into the RPTBATCH command. This means that RPTBATCH will always attempt to authorize the user in the DefaultAuth domain. If, either during or after the installation, the authentication name is changed, then RPTBATCH command will fail because the user resides in a different domain (e.g., TestAuth).
The user might not get any error or indication in a DOS prompt that the RPTBATCH command failed. However, an error similar to the following will likely appear in the BI Report Services log file. This log file can be found at ...\configdir\Lev1\Applications\SASBIReportServices4.2\Logs
.
