Problem Note 34693: Current units on–hand at plan level value does not match value at product level, plan facts displayed are incorrect when plan starts in the future
On the Markdown Plan Summary screen in SAS® Markdown Optimization, the Current units on – hand value that is displayed in the Inventory Details section of the Plan Facts is an estimated value as of the next actionable markdown period.
However, if you right-click and select View Products as List – Style / Color level for a plan on the Markdown Active Plans screen, the Inv Units On–hand values that are displayed for the products in the plan are the actual values from the most recent fact data.
Consequently the values at product level do not sum to the value at the plan level when there are sales units forecasted. The plan facts that are displayed are incorrect when the plan starts in the future.
