Problem Note 34610: Applying hot fix F9ST01 will result in errors if SAS/QC® is not licensed
If you have downloaded and installed hot hix F9ST01 for PROC POWER and your SAS license does not include SAS/QC, you will receive an error and the process will fail.
The error message is:
ERROR: The SAS/QC product with which POWER is associated is either not licensed for
your system or the product license has expired. Please contact your SAS
installation representative.
ERROR: Bad product ID for procedure POWER.
PROC POWER is part of SAS/STAT, not SAS/QC, so this error is incorrect.
The error does not occur if SAS/QC is licensed.
A Hot Fix is avaible for this problem; see the Hot Fix tab.
