Problem Note 34464: The SAS® Migration Utility fails if common system commands are aliased
The smu.rexx script provided for the SAS Migration Utility might fail with unpredictable errors if common system commands are aliased to have other meanings. For example, in one case, an alias was defined for the ls command. In this specific case, the error message was as follows:

To circumvent these errors, remove any aliases for the following commands long enough to run the SAS Migration Utility.
- basename
- dirname
- echo
- find
- ls
- whence
