SAS Web Report Studio might display the following error when you attempt to print a report:

One cause of this issue was addressed in a hot fix for release 3.1 and fixed without a hot fix at 4.2. If you are using release 3.1, then click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

If you are using release 4.2 or later and you see this error, then try the following workarounds:

• Change the Orientation from Portrait to Landscape or vice versa.
• For each Orientation, try different Fit options (Wrap or Fit).
• Try a different paper Size.
• Reduce your margins. For example, if your margins are set at the default of 1 inch (or cm) on each side, then try changing the margins to .5 or .25.

Other workarounds include the following:

• Adjust the layout of the report. For example:
  • If four (or more) objects are displayed side by side, try moving some of the objects to the next row in the layout.
  • Adjust the alignment specified for the cells in the layout.
  • Headers and footers have three sections. If possible, move the content from its current section to a different section.
• Open the report in a Microsoft Office application using the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office. Then, print the report from that application.
