Usage Note 34364: Enterprise Reporter® cannot create PDF files starting with Adobe Acrobat 8
Starting with Adobe Acrobat 8, Enterprise Reporter 9.1 can no longer create PDF files as it did using previous releases of Adobe. You will notice the problems when using File ► Save As to save PDF files interactively or when attempting to create PDF files in batch mode.
Interactively, if you attempt to create a PDF file using File ► Save As, you will notice that the Save as type option no longer includes *.PDF as a valid file type. To create the PDF file, you must use File ► Print and select the Adobe PDF printer.
In batch mode, the batch file will create a PS file in the location that you specified for your PDF file. To create your PDF file, you must double-click the PS file and use the Adobe Distiller.
