Installation Note 34274: You cannot start the WebLogic Admin server when using the instructions.html to perform a manual configuration of WebLogic
When you follow the instructions.html file to configure WebLogic manually, you might not be able to start the Admin server according to the instructions. The reason for this is that the instructions.html contains an extra bin directory in the pathname that it provides. The following is an example of such an erroneous pathname:
/<SAS_Configuration_Home>/SAS/Lev1/Web/SASDomain/bin/bin/startWebLogic.sh
The correct path is as follows:
/<SAS_Configuration_Home>/SAS/Lev1/Web/SASDomain/bin/startWebLogic.sh
Note also that the instructions.html file does not include the path that is required to start the nodemanager. The path to start the nodemanager is as follows:
/<SAS_Configuration_Home>/SAS/Lev1/Web/SASDomain/bin/startNodeManager.sh
