Problem Note 34218: ERROR: "Floating Point Zero Divide" may occur when analyzing nearly constant data
The HPFDIAGNOSE procedure might fail with the following error if the DATA= data set contains nearly constant data for one or more BY groups:
ERROR: Floating Point Zero Divide.
This error has been observed on UNIX platforms, but not on Windows platforms.
Although no circumventions exist for this problem, the EXCEPTIONS=CATCH option might be added to the PROC HPFDIAGNOSE statement to allow the procedure to continue processing the remaining BY groups.
