Problem Note 34093: The SAS® IOM driver for Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) does not return user-defined formats for missing values
When using the SAS IOM driver for JDBC with user–defined formats that are enabled in the SAS® system, you might see unexpected results if a user–defined format has been assigned for missing values. A NULL might be returned when calling the java.sql.ResultSet getString() method in your java application.
Note: If user–defined formats are disabled, then NULL is the correct result when you call the getString() method and the resulting value is empty.
