An error might occur if you specify the following code on a DD JCL statement for a SAS library:
DSNTYPE=LARGE
The error message will be similar to the following, where libname is the DDname in the JCL DD card with the DSNTYPE=LARGE option:
ERROR: OPEN TYPE=J failed to position library data set
libname.xxxxxxxxx.DATA to volume number 1.If this error occurs, ensure that you have applied the hot fix that is associated with SAS Note 17038.
