Problem Note 33857: Communication codes might not be unique when you use the “Save As” feature to create a new campaign
If you use the Save As feature in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio to create a new campaign, the communication codes in the new campaign might not be unique when you use the Generate Automatic Communication codes functionality in SAS Customer Intelligence.
The problem occurs because of a regression introduced by the 51MA02 and 51MA03 hot fixes. If you have not applied these hot fixes then you will not experience this problem. If you find that you have duplicate communication codes, contact SAS Technical Support.
There is no workaround for this problem, and no errors are reported. The only way to tell if your data has been affected is to check your communication codes manually where ever the Save As feature has been used to create campaigns.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
If you have already applied hot fixes 51MA02 and 51MA03 to your SAS Customer Intelligence installation, you should apply this new hot fix as soon as possible.
