Problem Note 33806: EFI, PROC IMPORT, and IMPORT WIZARD read numeric value with a hyphen incorrectly

Beginning in SAS 9.2 a value that contains numbers separated by a hyphen will be typed as numeric when using EFI, PROC IMPORT or IMPORT WIZARD. The numeric variable will be assigned the TIMEw. Informat and Format. An example of the values would be any of the following:

                                                                
   100-5                                                         
   1-1                                                           
   1123-5                                                        
   100-23                                                        
   23-34                                                         

The desired type of character for the variable instead of numeric will be fixed in a future release.
