Problem Note 33750: Database version error message occurs after running reinitDatabase.cmd or reinitDatabase.sh
If you applied SAS® OpRisk Monitor Hot Fix 4 or Hot Fix 5 and then run reinitDatabase.cmd or reinitDatabase.sh, you will not be able to load your database.
When applying a hot fix, there is a database patch command file that updates your database to the current version. Hot Fix 4 and Hot Fix 5 did not re-deliver the corresponding table creation scripts for Postgres and Oracle. They should have been packaged with the hot fixes.
To avoid this problem, make sure you have created and loaded a database before applying Hot Fix 4 or Hot Fix 5. Do not use a command such as reinitDatabase to cause a situation that requires database creation after applying Hot Fix 4 or Hot Fix 5. Once your database is created, and you apply Hot Fix 4 or Hot Fix 5, you will then have an opportunity to update your database to the current version expected by Hot Fix 4 or Hot Fix 5.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
