Problem Note 33568: An error occurs when you use the UPLOAD or DOWNLOAD procedures and you specify data set options for either the input data set or the output data set

In SAS/CONNECT® software, the following error can occur when you use PROC UPLOAD or PROC DOWNLOAD and you specify data set options for either the input data set or the output data set:

SPAN ERROR: A bug in SAS has been encountered. Please call your SAS representative and report the following message: WZX: origin buffer overflowed.

The following UPLOAD procedure is an example that results in this error:

rsubmit; proc upload data=bplace out=lsound(where=(name=* 'jame')); run; endrsubmit;

This problem also occurs when you use the DATECOPY option in PROC UPLOAD or PROC DOWNLOAD.
