Problem Note 33541: A remotely submitted semicolon does not appear in a log and causes errors

If you remotely submit a semicolon by itself, the semicolon disappears and the SAS® log does not show that the semicolon was submitted.

If you perform another remote submission right after the first one, you might receive the following error:

ERROR 22-322: Syntax error, expecting one of the following: ;, 

ERROR 202-322: The option or parameter is not recognized and will be ignored.

Currently, there is no solution or workaround.
