Problem Note 33518: Users can connect to the SAS® Web Report Studio session of a previous user after that user has logged out

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When executing a SAS Web Report Studio report from within the SAS® Information Delivery Portal, if you select Return to Portal and log out of the portal, another user can invoke SAS Web Report Studio without logging in, and connect directly to your session.

For performance purposes, SAS Web Report Studio does not terminate your session immediately when you return to the Portal. Instead, SAS Web Reprt Studio puts the session on a short timeout. Hence, if you return from the portal to SAS Web Report Studio, your session is still active and the current report is still open.

If you do not return soon, the session is terminated. By default, this timeout value is set for 5 minutes.
