Problem Note 33182: Executing a communication in SAS® Marketing Automation clears the value of the campaign folder in the campaign table of the Common Data Model

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

It is possible to incorrectly set the value in the CI_CAMPAIGN.CAMPAIGN_FOLDER_TXT column in the CI_CAMPAIGN table in the SAS® Customer Intelligence Common Data Model to 0 at two points in the life cycle of a SAS Marketing Automation campaign. Setting the value to 0 at either point causes this value to appear empty in a report. The first point is immediately after a communication is executed, when the Common Data Model is updated with information about the communication export. The second point is immediately after a campaign is deleted.

There are two ways to correctly reset the value of CAMPAIGN_FOLDER_TXT, if the campaign has not been deleted:

  1. Perform a full manual publication of campaign data to the Common Data Model by opening the campaign in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio. Then select Tools ► Publish.
  2. Save the campaign in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, which automatically resets the CAMPAIGN_FOLDER_TXT value. An incremental publication of the campaign data to the Common Data Model is performed each time the campaign is saved, if the Business Context for the campaign has been configured to do this incremental publication. This setting is controlled in the SAS Customer Intelligence plug-in for SAS® Management Console.
