Problem Note 33181: Some fields in the SAS® Customer Intelligence common data model might not be populated
After applying Hot Fix 51MA01 (which is available from the
Hot Fix tab on this note), the tables that have been added to the common data model for SAS Customer Intelligence 5.1 will not be populated by SAS
® Marketing Automation's common data model publish process. This is because the hot fix process copied the new version of the file mapublish.map to the wrong folder.
In a Windows environment, the new map file is in: C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS 9.1\ma\SASMISC\mapublsh.map.
In a UNIX environment, the new map file is in: sas-root/SAS_9.1/misc/ma/mapublsh.map.
The SAS script for the publish process assumes that mapublish.map can be found in the MAMISC library, rather than in the directories listed above. This library is defined in the appserver_autoexec.sas file. In most installations, the MAMISC library points to the following folder:
- Under Windows: C:\SAS\Plan-filename\Lev1\SASMain\Data\MAMISC
- Under UNIX: ...\Plan-filename\Lev1\SASMain\Data\MAMisc
The SAS script for the publish process also refers to the mapublish.map file with the letter "i" in the file name. However, the file that is copied during the hot fix process is misspelled as "mapublsh.map" without the "i."
As a workaround for this problem, after applying Hot Fix 51MA01, copy the file that was incorrectly named from its current location to the correct MAMISC library folder, rename it, and place it in the correct location.
