Usage Note 33149: Configuring Apache Tomcat as a service during post installation
If you do not select the Apache Tomcat server to run as a service during an installion, then you will not have the Tomcat executable file. To obtain the executable and to install the Tomcat server:
- Click the Downloads tab in this note to download the the Tomcat zip file called jakarta–tomcat–4.1.18.zip.
- Extract the zip file to a temporary directory.
- Copy the tomcat.exe file into your /bin folder.
- Re-run the file Install_Tomcat_Service.bat to install the server.

Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
