Usage Note 33961: Limited support for filesystem Access Control Lists in the UNIX environment
The use of Access Control Lists (ACLs) as a means of controlling
permissions on individual SAS® data sets is not supported.
Only host-level permissions are supported.
It is possible, however, to set an ACL for a directory that contains
SAS data sets.
The ACL would then determine the system-level permissions for any
newly created data sets contained in that directory.
If a data set in the directory is overwritten, the ACL is lost.
