Problem Note 33807: After updating a formatted numeric value with a editable JDBC table, the value returned is not formatted
When using an editable JDBC table with the IOM driver for JDBC (MVADriver), an unformatted numeric value might be returned after editing a formatted value. For example, if the applyFormats property is set to true on the driver, then a numeric value such as 59.0 will be returned as 59. However, if the table is editable and you change the value to 47, then the table would display the unformatted value of 47.0.
This problem might also be encountered in any situation where updatable result sets are used with the IOM driver for JDBC.
