Problem Note 33285: z/OS diagnostic traps might cause Base SASĀ® software to abend
Some of the diagnostic traps that are set in the z/OS environment might cause misleading messages to appear or cause the Base SAS software to abend.
If the IGVINITGETMAIN trap is active, it might cause a 0C4 abend to occur in the module BPXWDYN.
If the PRIMEPSA trap is active, you might see spurious error messages such as the following:
Attempting to open a file or reset the filename when the handle already
describes an open file.
