Problem Note 33077: A Read-access violation occurs when a Zip file is attached to e-mail in a DBCS SAS® session

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Under certain circumstances, attaching a Zip file to a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) e-mail in a double-byte character set (DBCS) SAS session might cause a Read-access violation that stops the SAS program. The problem does not occur when you run the same code in single-byte character set (SBCS) version of SAS. It appears to happen only when a binary (Zip) attachment follows a non-binary (text file) attachment.
