Problem Note 33003: Trigger times for flow schedules are based on the client machine rather than the server after you apply Hot Fix 913SMC06 for SAS® Management Console
After you apply Hot Fix 913SMC06 for SAS Management Console, the trigger times for scheduling flows are based on the setting of the time on the client machine (where SAS Management Console runs) rather than on the setting of the server (where Platform LSF Process Manager runs). This behavior can cause incorrect scheduling when both of the following statements are true:
- The client and the server are in different physical time zones.
- The client Java Runtime Environment (JRE) library has not been updated with the current time zone settings. (To update your Java time-zone settings, see SAS Note 19105).
After you apply the hot fix, you can tell that the schedule time is based on the client because when you schedule a flow in SAS Management Console, the text in the New Time Event window reads specify the time (at the client) in hours and minutes.
Currently, there is no way to change the New Time Event trigger back to server-based times.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
Prior to Hot Fix 913SMC06, flows were scheduled based on time at the server. After you apply Hot Fix 913SMC06 for SAS Management Console, flow schedule times are based on the time at the client.
