Usage Note 32747: Default setting changed in SAS® 9.2 when creating a Table of Contents in the ODS RTF destination
The default setting changed in SAS 9.2 regarding Table of Contents creation in the ODS RTF destination.
To create a Table of Contents for RTF output, the CONTENTS option must be included in the ODS RTF statement. In SAS 9.1.3, the TOC_DATA/NOTOC_DATA option was added to specify whether contents data was embedded in the RTF file as hidden text. For SAS 9.1.3, the default setting is TOC_DATA.
In SAS 9.2, the default changed to NOTOC_DATA. If the CONTENTS option is used in the ODS RTF statement, the TOC_DATA option also must be included. Otherwise, the Table of Contents page in the RTF output displays the following:
No table of contents entries found.
